As a graphic designer, I have over 10 years of experience working in a high-pressure, fast paced environment for the news conglomerate, CNN. I also started my own freelance business, Jessica Hoehn Design, focusing on apparel, branding, logo design, promotional material, social media, and website design for various clients.
I'm proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,  After Effects, and VizRT.
Things I'm most proud of as a designer:
-Working on CNN's 2016 Election Coverage (our largest audience to date)
-Co-founding the hashtag #hashtagpaleo (there's over 88,800 posts)
-Working with Black Girls RUN! who was honored by Oprah and Toyota with the "Standing O-Vation" award for combating obesity
-Receiving multiple Peabody Awards
-Branding and consulting with local start-ups and seeing them grow into thriving businesses (AGA Design, Bastille, Beauty Bar of Buckhead, Coach Kam, Crossfit RX, Fitanimal, Heavner Design Group, SteadyFly Productions, Sweet and Lashful, and Tagsys RFID)
When not at work you can most likely find me rock climbing. I love to travel all over the world to climb. My favorite place to climb is Joshua Tree-it's pretty magical if you've never been. Climbing is like graphic design in many ways-you are given a problem and you have to find a solution. It may not be easy and you may not see a clear route but you keep working at it until the project is complete.
